Information and Communication Manager Simba Sc Ahmed Ally has slammed Yanga's rumor on winger Bernard Morrison saying that even if they get the they will not be able to achieve the success of Simba in the CAF competitions
This week rumors have surfaced that Yanga want to sign the Ghanaian star whose contract with Simba expires at the end of the season
The rumors seem to have been strategically launched to disrupt Simba's best form as they have revived hopes of defending the title they hold for four consecutive seasons
Ahmed has said it is a good thing for their player to be associated with other clubs as there are many players in Tanzania but he has assured Simba fans that this is just propaganda
"If they get Morrison do they think they will reach the quarter-finals? Not only Morrison, we can loan them another player or even change their name to Simba and then we can see if they reach the quarter-finals," said Ahmed
"For us we are not surprised, we find it encouraging when you see your player is wanted by another team is a sign that he is a good player. There are many players in the league but they have only seen Morrison"
Morrison's absence from the squad after the game against Yanga has led to the rumors being circulated but an official statement released by Simba has revealed that Morrison suffered injuries in the game against Yanga, he has already started Gym training alongside other injured players Chris Mugalu, Sadio Kanoute and Clatous Chama
