The Tanzanian embassy in South Africa took over the responsibility of escorting Simba to the hotel after their hosts Orlando Pirates had no support
Simba has confirmed that their convoy lacked the Police escort to guide them and so the role was taken by the Tanzanian Embassy in South Africa
"Thank you Orlando Pirates for the reception but you have deprived us of the Police to escort us on the road (escort) so we have been forced to use the car of the Tanzanian Ambassador to South Africa to guide us," the Simba statement
