Simba Sc could be the first team in Tanzania to witness the use of VAR in the Confederations Cup matches in Africa
It was after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) indicated that the VAR could be introduced from the quarter-finals of the Champions League and Confederations Cup
The technology could be witnessed for the first time in Tanzania on April 17 in the first leg of the quarter-finals against Orlando Pirates at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
It will also be used on April 24 for a rematch to be played in South Africa
It will be history for Simba to get a chance to witness the use of VAR which is currently a few countries in Africa
