As Simba Sc prepare for the final Group D match, the African Confederation Cup against US Gendamarie of Niger on Sunday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam, the club has urged fans to ignore rumor's concerning Head Coach Pablo Franco.
Simba Information and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, said that the rumors are fabricated and deliberately created by some people who do not wish the club well, with the aim of disturbing the focus toward the next match
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Ahmed said it was true that they gave the Spanish coach a goal of reaching the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup, but they never said that they will fire him if thing go differently
"The purpose of the compilation was to destabilize the club, especially towards that crucial match. It is true that we gave the coach a goal of reaching the semi-finals, but we did not say what will happen if things go differently," he said.
"If he gets us there we will be happy, but if not we will sit down with him to discuss what the causes of failing to achieve the goal set," said Ahmed
