Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism Dr Damas Ndumbaro said the Government has benefited greatly from the sponsorship they have placed with Sima Sc through the Visit Tanzania
Dr Ndumbaro said according to CAF statistics, Simba is the most watched club in Africa where about 500 million fans watch them on TV
"Inside we can argue, but in African football, Simba is a big brand. Outside the value of Simba is greater than any other club in Tanzania. One Simba Sc match is watched by over 500 Mil fans. The six matches they have played, produced more than 3 billion views seen Visit Tanzania. We wish to get atleast least 1% of them to visit Tanzania "
"We gave the same to Yanga to promote Visit Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar but what happened, they were eliminated in the first round" said Dr Ndumbaro
