Simba right-back Shomari Kapombe thanked members and fans of Simba who wished him well and others wanted to know of the situation following the incident he faced in the previous game against Biashara United
Kapombe collided with Biashara United striker Atupele Green and was rushed to hospital for further treatment
Simba confirmed that Kapombe did not experience any serious side effects. Doctors advised him to rest for five days
Kapombe said he has received many messages from fans wishing him well
"I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the Simba fans and football fans, friends, relatives and close friends who all prayed for me in any way"
"To remove cast of doubt on my overall health, I am doing fine, God is very good," wrote Kapombe on his social media page
Kapombe will miss today's game against Dodoma Jiji but will no doubt be ready to face RS Berkane on Sunday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the Confederations Cup match
